Sharyl attended Emmanual's Lutheran Church in Bellevue, and later became a member of Elfinwild Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed being "mummum" to her grandchildren, family vacations at the condo at the Outer Banks, the Shaler North Hills Library and swimming at Kiwanis Pool, as well as watching the birds and other wildlife in her backyard. Friends will be received on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 12 to 8 PM, at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A special thank you to the oncology staff of Dr. Ben Nacev at Hillman Cancer Center, all the nurses and aides on the Hillman 2nd floor treatment center, as well as the various oncology professionals at Shadyside Hospital, also thanks to the professionals of Bridges Hospice. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
