Plum Island, Newburyport - Patricia (Pecoraro) Caswell, a proud resident of Plum Island and Newburyport, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025 at Anna Jaques Hospital.
Born and Graduated High School from Everett, Ma. Pat moved to Newburyport at a young age and quickly made it her lifelong home and heart.
Pat was a deeply loving and patient woman, often described as the glue that held the Pecoraro family together. Her warmth, quiet strength, and gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She had a way of making people feel heard, cared for, and at home—whether through a thoughtful word, a shared story, or a welcoming smile.
She is survived by her children, Steven, Dan, Wayne and Hollis, Jay and Elyse, and Jeff and Nancy Caswell. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Joan Alger.
Pat was the proud grandmother of Nicole, Christine and Jayson Levesque, Joseph, Matthew, Christian and Jacob Caswell. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Patricia now joins her beloved husband, Jay Caswell, and her cherished daughter, Patty, in heaven—reunited in eternal peace and love.
A proud and caring member of her community, Patricia Caswell's love and devotion to her family and friends will be remembered with gratitude and affection. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love lives on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
