Kathy L. Andrews
Kathy L. Andrews (nee Redlark) of Arlington Heights, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Kathy was born in Chicago, the daughter of Raymond Redlark (Redlarczyk) and Ann (nee Sadowski), and she was raised in Elmwood Park with her three sisters: the late Diane (Michael) Mueller, Joy (Wayne) Orlowski, and Joan (Dave) Shedor. She attended Mother Guerin High School and earned a nursing degree from Concordia, eventually becoming a labor and delivery nurse at Lutheran General Hospital. She and husband of 50 years, Larry Andrews, moved to Arlington Heights in 1979 where they raised three boys: Michael (Angelica), Ryan (Brooke), and Steven (Amanda). Kathy was loving, fun, kind, and adventurous. She loved music, history, travel, crafts, and most of all spending time with her family, including her seven grandchildren: Maya, Evan, Harper, Lucas, Reagan, Thomas, and Theresa. She will live on through all the wonderful memories she left behind.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 9am at Saint James Catholic Church, 831 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL, with a 10am mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations dedicated to Kathy can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
